FarmEd

On the back of two 60 hour working weeks, I have just finished an additional 7 day exhibition with FarmEd - I‘m currently running on vapours!

However, I wouldn’t have it any other way as FarmEd is one of those special places that you instantly connect with from the moment you cross its threshold. Nestled in the Cotswolds, its mission is to provide learning spaces and events that inspire, educate and connect people to build sustainable farming and food systems that both nourish and regenerate. The owners are passionate about the transition to and education of agroecological farming - their message is simple: ‘we are on a journey of regenerative farming covering soil health, gut health and everything in between’. The farm provides 107 acres of meadows, fields, woodland and orchards in which to walk, talk and enjoy the beauty of the Evenlode Valley - it is purity, simplicity, stunning.

Last September I responded to a ‘call out’ for artists who aligned with their ethos and whose work met their brief criteria. I was delighted when they offered to show my work, and knew that this was a privileged opportunity from the moment I arrived to set up in their architecturally award winning barn.
