Whatever it is, were against it: 3am magazine

Yesterday I stumbled across this blog article written by fellow poet Julie Mellor which featured my asemic work published in 3am Magazine way back in 2018. In her article Julie discusses her introduction to Asemic Poetry and her initial views on this abstract process where poetry and art fuse. As many of you may be aware, I am a huge advocate of this type of artistic interpretation; it gives me immense pleasure & satisfaction in creating it and then asking others to interpret it - thereby, creating their own poetry.

Julie also discusses redaction in poetry - another process that I enjoy experimenting with - and the internet as a platform for publishing experimental creativity, which, in my opinion, invites inclusivity into an arena that could so easily fall into the parameters of exclusivity.
